High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HiFU)

Ultrasound is one of the safest technologies used globally. The technology is used in infants as well as pregnant women with the objective of imaging. When ultrasound beams are focused on a specific point, similar to the way a magnifying glass works, it is termed as High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound or HiFU

How does this technology work on targeting and reduction of FAT?

Our body develops FAT cells from birth till puberty. Excess calories are converted into FAT and stored in the FAT cells. The number of FAT cells do no increase in adulthood. The storage of FAT may directly increase the size of the FAT cells. OBESITY is simply the excessive collection of FAT in the FAT cells. The FAT right under the skin is called the subcutaneous FAT while the FAT around organs is Visceral FAT. Cellulite type of FAT is usually seen on HIPS and THIGHS and is more common in women.

Hifu target the FAT cells right under the skin i.e. the Subcutaneous FAT. HiFU concentrates up to 1000 beams of ultrasound energy with extreme precision at a targeted depth in the body. Normal activities can be resumed immediately after the treatment. The result is reduced FAT cells and INCH LOSS.
